ProperCare Physiotherapy
We rebuilt a clinic's website on a modern stack, moved every page across, and gave the team a dashboard to manage enquiries and content.
close to home.
The challenge
ProperCare's website had grown into a single PHP file reading from flat JSON files. It held a lot of good content, with dozens of condition guides, local area pages and blog posts, but it was hard to update, slow to change and had fallen behind on security.
The clinic needed a site that kept everything it had already earned in search, and a simple way for staff to handle enquiries, reviews and hiring without touching code.
Our approach
We rebuilt the site from scratch in Next.js and migrated every page one for one, so existing URLs and rankings stayed in place. Content moved into a proper database with a clean data model behind it.
We kept the stack deliberately lean: hand-built components, server-side forms with validation, and plain CSS transitions instead of heavy libraries. The result is a site that loads quickly and has fewer parts that can break.
Security came first. Credentials moved out of the code, and private files such as job applications now sit in private storage behind an authenticated route that logs every access.
